Indian-American citizens protested fiercely against China’s aggression on the Ladakh border. These people staged a peaceful protest outside the Chinese Consulate in Chicago to protest against Beijing’s aggression in eastern Ladakh. Not many people attended the protest due to restrictions on the corona virus gathering in the wake of the global pandemic and other steps implemented in the city of Chicago.
Outrage against people of Indian origin against China
Dr. Bharat Barai, a prominent Indian-American from Chicago, said on Thursday that our protest was against Chinese incursions into the Indian border in Leh. We want to tell China that Indian-Americans will not remain calm. Today the whole world is with India. He said that there is a lot of anger among Indian-Americans about Chinese aggression.
Protest against China through poster
The protesters had posters in their hands, condemning China and other neighboring countries for aggression against India. There is a stand-off between the Indian and Chinese forces in Pengong So, Galvan Valley, Demchok and Daulat Bel Oldi in eastern Ladakh. The two sides are holding talks at the diplomatic and military level to reduce tensions following the violent clashes in the Galvan Valley on 15 June.
